Highden Coin (HDEN) is a way of supporting the ongoing work of Highden, a living experiment in soul initiation, community, and service to the Earth.

Highden is a place where human beings gather to undergo the fires of soul initiation and where we move from a simple recognition: the Earth is one living being within the greater body of Cosmos.

From that basis we build a culture rooted in freedom, from which love and purpose emerge.

Highden is not only a place. It is a field of relationship that extends across the world.

The Cycle of Forty-Nine

Over a twenty-five-year arc we are undertaking forty-nine initiations. Twice each year we gather for six weeks to enter the transformative work of the temple together. Through these initiations a community is slowly being forged — one dedicated to love, truth, and service to the living Earth.

Seventeen of these initiations have already taken place. The remaining thirty-two will unfold over the coming years. Each initiation deepens the field and the community that carries it.

The Highden Currency arises from this field. As this cycle unfolds, both the life of the temple and the emergence of HDEN follow the same rhythm of growth and maturation.

Within this living experiment we explore new expressions of community, power, sexuality, creativity, economics, and spirit. HDEN is one expression of that exploration.

It is an experiment in currency that seeks to reflect something rarely measured in conventional economic systems: devotion, care for the Earth, the growth of consciousness, and the building of places where love can take root.

How the Currency Emerges

The total supply of HDEN is limited and will be released gradually across the forty-nine initiations.

As the work is now one-third of the way through this cycle, with seventeen initiations complete, the initial release makes available approximately one-third of the total supply.

The remaining coins will be released progressively across the remaining thirty-two initiations.

As the work grows, so too will the emergence of the currency. Its release accompanies tangible developments in the life of the work — the training of initiates, the expansion of service in the world, the planting of forests and gardens, the building and restoration of gathering places, and the unfolding of creative projects.

In this way, the currency follows the life of the work rather than the work following the currency.

The deeper value of this work cannot be measured in money. Yet money remains one of the ways that care and support move through the world. HDEN provides one path through which that support may flow.
